Car
Glasgow Airport is situated to the south-west of Glasgow city at junction 28 on M8 motorway, with good links to central Glasgow and also nearby Edinburgh. The airport is around 20 minutes from Glasgow city centre and one hour from central Edinburgh, and the route is well sign posted.

Buses and Coaches
Regular buses are available at Glasgow Airport (GLA) and bus number 905 travels into Glasgow city centre, stopping at Glasgow Central Station, Queen Street station and Buchanan bus station. Glasgow's Gilmour Street railway station is located in Paisley, just 3 km / 2 miles from Glasgow Airport (GLA), and can be easily reached by both bus and taxi. Regular trains travel into central Glasgow and this is one of the quickest ways to reach Glasgow's city centre from Glasgow Airport.

Taxis are readily available at Glasgow International Airport (GLA) 24 hours a day, outside of the airport's main terminal buildings, close to the arrivals areas. They provide a convenient and easy way to travel into nearby Glasgow, Edinburgh and other destinations. The journey from Glasgow Airport to central Edinburgh will take less than 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Official Glasgow Airport taxi cabs should always be used to ensure safety and also to avoid being overcharged.
